Job summary

Helping Hands is seeking a part-time Care and Training Practitioner to support onboarding and coaching of carers. You will help ensure care plans are accurate, compliant and person-centred while assisting the branch with audits and documentation.

You’ll work in a role that blends training, supervision and on-site visits, contributing to a culture of growth and high-quality care for customers and teams alike.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant and a desire to take the next step in your career.
• A full, clean UK driving licence and access to a road-worthy vehicle.
• Strong communication skills and a supportive, encouraging approach to working with others.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor and support new carers so they feel confident and ready to deliver extraordinary care.
• Assist the branch team with compliance, auditing and documentation.
• Complete spot checks and supervisions to maintain high standards across your care team.
• Visit customers to review care plans, ensuring they remain accurate, safe and person-centred.
• Carry out risk assessments with care, clarity and professionalism.
• Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.
