Job summary

Helping Hands Home Care in the United Kingdom seeks a Care and Training Practitioner to coach new carers from interview through onboarding, ensuring quality, compliance and strong customer relationships. It is a branch-focused role with on-going coaching and supervision to uplift the care team.

You’ll bring care experience, a full UK driving licence and a people-first leadership approach to help the branch maintain high standards and meaningful client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant and desire to advance in your career.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a roadworthy vehicle.
• Strong communication and supportive leadership approach.
• People-first mindset – calm, kind and ready to lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor and support new carers so they feel confident and ready to deliver high-quality care.
• Assist the branch team with compliance, auditing and documentation.
• Complete spot checks and supervisions to maintain high standards across the care team.
• Visit customers to review care plans and ensure they remain person-centred and safe.
• Carry out risk assessments with care, clarity and professionalism.
• Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.
