Job summary

Helping Hands Home Care in Wokingham is seeking a branch leader to train, mentor and support care teams, ensuring high standards of safety and person-centred support. You will visit customers, review plans and carry out risk assessments with professionalism, while contributing to on-call duties as part of the branch rota.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and strong communication, with a focus on growth and development within a nationwide, award‑winning provider.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant and a desire to take the next step in your career.
• A full, clean UK driving licence and access to a roadworthy, insured vehicle.
• Strong communication skills and a supportive, encouraging approach to working with others.
• A keen eye for detail and confidence in maintaining compliance and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor and support new carers so they feel confident, capable and ready to deliver extraordinary care.
• Assist the branch team with compliance, auditing and documentation.
• Complete spot checks and supervisions to maintain high standards across your care team.
• Visit customers to review care plans, ensuring they remain accurate, safe and person-centred.
• Carry out risk assessments with care, clarity and professionalism.
• Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.
