Job summary

Agincare Weymouth is seeking an experienced Care Team Leader for Rodley House to lead the care team, supervise daily living support, and ensure high-quality care for residents.

You will oversee medication administration, help residents maintain independence, plan activities, and collaborate with families and health professionals. The role runs on a 4-week rolling rota with day shifts from 7:45am to 8:15pm. A strong clinical and leadership background is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ right to work in the UK.
• At least 2 years’ experience in social care.
• QCF Level 2 or above.
• 30 hours per week, day shifts.
• Experience with medication is required.
• Experience in a senior or team leader role in care is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, providing high-quality care and companionship.
• Support residents with personal care and daily living.
• Encourage independence and wellbeing.
• Plan and take part in meaningful activities and outings.
• Oversee medication administration and accurate record-keeping.
• Work closely with families and healthcare professionals.
• Support and guide the care team, stepping up in the absence of senior management.

We’re looking for:
