Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Care Team Leader at Fulford Care Home, East Street, Littlehampton. You will lead by example, deliver high-quality care, support residents with daily living, and guide the care team including night shifts.

This maternity cover role requires at least 2 years in social care and QCF Level 2 or above, with full-time hours and alternate weekend availability. The position offers £14.36 per hour, full pension, and ongoing funded training up to QCF Level 5, plus benefits such as

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
• At least 2 years’ experience in social care.
• QCF Level 2 (or above).
• 48 hours per week (Night shifts).
• Please note this position is maternity cover.
• Availability to work alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, providing high-quality care and companionship.
• Support residents with personal care and daily living.
• Encourage independence and wellbeing.
• Plan and take part in meaningful activities and outings.
• Oversee medication administration and accurate record-keeping.
• Work closely with families and healthcare professionals.
• Support and guide the care team, stepping up in the absence of senior management.
