We're looking for a Team Leader to work closely with the Service Manager, leading and supporting our care team to deliver safe, high-quality care that enables people to live independently and with dignity. What you'll do
- Lead, guide and encourage Care Assistants and Relief Care Assistants.
- Organise staff rotas and workforce planning to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, supervision and the ongoing development of staff.
- Maintain accurate care plans, risk assessments and quality assurance records.
- Champion safeguarding, wellbeing and person-centred approaches to care.
- Support compliance with CQC regulations and service standards.
- Take part in the out-of-hours on-call rota.
Are you a compassionate and motivated care professional who believes in delivering outstanding, person-centred support?, Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or an equivalent qualification. - Experience within health and social care, home care, supported living or extra care services.
- Experience of coordinating staff, managing rotas, schedules or care provision.
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding practices and person-centred care.
- Understanding of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
- Confident in using digital systems and electronic care management records.
- Flexible and able to work across 5 days out of 7.
- Willingness to participate in the management on-call rota.
