Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Care Team Leader at Critchill Court Care Home in Frome, England. The role focuses on leading a compassionate team to deliver high-quality resident care and daily support.

You will oversee personal care, coordinate activities, and ensure accurate medication records while collaborating with families and health professionals. A two-week rolling rota is in place with weekend duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ right to work in the UK.
• At least 2 years’ experience in social care.
• QCF Level 2 (or above).
• 36 hours per week (day shifts).
• Availability to work alternate weekends.
• Two week rolling rota with Tue/Wed/Fri in week 1 and Fri/Sat/Sun in week 2.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, providing high-quality care and companionship.
• Support residents with personal care and daily living.
• Encourage independence and wellbeing.
• Plan and take part in meaningful activities and outings.
• Oversee medication administration and accurate record-keeping.
• Work closely with families and healthcare professionals.
• Support and guide the care team, stepping up in the absence of senior management.

We’re Looking For

• This position is on a two week rolling rota, so you must be available to work the following shifts
• Week one will be the following days: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
• Week two will be the following days: Friday, Saturday and Sunday
