Job summary

Agincare Group in Frome is seeking an experienced Care Team Leader at Critchill Court Care Home to lead a dedicated team and support residents.

You will oversee daily living, personal care, and medication administration, while coordinating with families and healthcare professionals. The role requires at least 2 years in social care, 36 hours per week on a two-week rolling rota, and a commitment to training and development.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years’ experience in social care.
  • Willingness to work 36 hours per week on a rolling rota.
  • Availability to work alternate weekends.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example, providing high-quality care and companionship.
  • Support residents with personal care and daily living.
  • Encourage independence and wellbeing.
  • Plan and take part in meaningful activities and outings.
  • Oversee medication administration and accurate record-keeping.
  • Work closely with families and healthcare professionals.
  • Support and guide the care team, stepping up in the absence of senior management.

What we offer:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in social care
  • 36 hours per week (day shifts)
  • Availability to work alternate weekends
  • This position is on a two week rolling rota, so you must be available to work the following shifts
  • Week one will be the following days: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
  • Week two will be the following days: Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Your role:
