Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Care Team Leader for Critchill Court Care Home in Frome. Bring leadership, compassion, and 2+ years in social care to a role that helps residents thrive and creates a safe, welcoming home.

This full-time position covers 36 hours per week on day shifts with a two-week rolling rota, including alternate weekends. We offer £14.36 per hour, funded training up to QCF Level 5, pension, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ right to work in the UK.
• At least 2 years’ experience in social care.
• QCF Level 2 (or above).

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, providing high-quality care and companionship.
• Support residents with personal care and daily living.
• Encourage independence and wellbeing.
• Plan and take part in meaningful activities and outings.
• Oversee medication administration and accurate record-keeping.
• Work closely with families and healthcare professionals.
• Support and guide the care team, stepping up in the absence of senior management.

We’re Looking For

• Minimum 12 months’ right to work in the UK

• Availability to work alternate weekends
• This position is on a two week rolling rota, so you must be available to work the following shifts
• Week one will be the following days: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
• Week two will be the following days: Friday, Saturday and Sunday
