Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Care Team Leader at Sedgemoor Care Home in the UK. You will lead a care team, deliver compassionate personal care, plan activities, oversee medications, and liaise with families and health professionals to create a warm, resident-focused home.

This role requires leadership, reliability and a passion for supporting residents to thrive within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ right to work in the UK.
• At least 2 years’ experience in social care.
• 36 hours per week day shifts.
• Availability to work alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, providing high-quality care and companionship.
• Support residents with personal care and daily living.
• Encourage independence and wellbeing.
• Plan and take part in meaningful activities and outings.
• Oversee medication administration and accurate record-keeping.
• Work closely with families and healthcare professionals.
• Support and guide the care team, stepping up in the absence of senior management.

We're Looking For
