Job summary

Agincare Weymouth in Charlton Kings is seeking an experienced Care Team Leader at Grevill House. You will lead by example, deliver high-quality care, and support residents and staff to thrive.

The role involves personal care, promoting independence, planning activities, overseeing medication records, and coordinating with families and healthcare professionals. 36 hours per week, day shifts, with some weekend work.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 months’ right to work in the UK.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in social care.
  • QCF Level 2 (or above).
  • 36 hours per week (day shifts).
  • Availability to work alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example, providing high-quality care and companionship.
  • Support residents with personal care and daily living.
  • Encourage independence and wellbeing.
  • Plan and take part in meaningful activities and outings.
  • Oversee medication administration and accurate record-keeping.
  • Work closely with families and healthcare professionals.
  • Support and guide the care team, stepping up in the absence of senior management.
