Job summary

Agincare Weymouth is looking for an experienced Care Team Leader at The Croft Care Home. You will lead by example, provide high-quality care, and support residents with daily living while promoting independence and wellbeing.

The role requires 42 hours per week with night shifts and availability for alternate weekends. The company offers training up to QCF Level 5, a pension, and other benefits, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ right to work in the UK.
• At least 2 years’ experience in social care.
• QCF Level 2 (or above).
• 42 hours per week (night shifts).
• Availability to work alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, providing high-quality care and companionship.
• Support residents with personal care and daily living.
• Encourage independence and wellbeing.
• Plan and take part in meaningful activities and outings.
• Oversee medication administration and accurate record-keeping.
• Work closely with families and healthcare professionals.
• Support and guide the care team, stepping up in the absence of senior management.
