Southern Housing is seeking a Care & Support Worker for Green Meadows on the Isle of Wight, 25 hours a week. You will help residents who may have learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs, delivering personalised support in line with individual care plans.

The role involves evenings and weekends, possible sleep-ins, and moving and handling tasks, with travel across Freshwater, Ryde and surrounding areas, and joining a supportive team in a CQC regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
• Willingness to work towards an NVQ Level 2 in Care (or equivalent).
• No previous experience is required - full training and support will be provided.

Responsabilités

• Provide care and support across our schemes and in the community per individual care plans.
• Assist with moving and handling and be able to respond calmly in emergencies.
• Work evenings and weekends; may undertake sleep-in duties or be on an on-call rota.
• Support residents to live independently, protect dignity, choice and inclusion.
