Job summary

Southern Housing is seeking compassionate care and support staff to deliver person-centred care across supported housing schemes, extra care schemes and community services on the Isle of Wight. You’ll work evenings and weekends, handle moving and handling duties, and participate in sleep-in/on-call rotas as required.

Full training and ongoing support are provided to help residents live independently with dignity.

Qualifications

• You'll provide person-centred care and support in line with individual care plans.
• No previous experience is necessary—training and support will be provided.
• Ability to pursue NVQ Level 2 in Care with employer support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred care to residents across housing schemes and community services.
• Assist with moving and handling duties and daily living tasks.
• Work evenings, weekends, and participate in sleep-in and on-call rotas.
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
