First Option Healthcare are looking to add to our vibrant and rapidly growing team as a Care Manager based at our Head Office in South London (East Croydon). The role involves managing care packages, rota creation, and ongoing client/candidate relationships to ensure high-quality community care.

The position offers a salary between £30,000 and £33,000 per annum, with 23 days holiday plus birthday entitlement, a competitive pension, employee assistance program, and ongoing career development

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain care rotas, ensuring shifts are covered in allocated packages.
• Reallocate shifts when candidates are absent and inform client and management.
• Manage client and candidate relationships by providing effective customer care.
• Assist colleagues to ensure smooth running of packages.
• Monitor staffing levels and recruit new candidates as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service including weekly client courtesy calls and visits.
• Build and maintain candidate relationships and conduct quarterly supervisions.
• Assist recruitment and compliance teams with candidate registration and ongoing compliance.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain care rotas, ensuring all shifts are covered in allocated packages.
• Reallocate shifts when candidates are absent, ensuring any changes are communicated to both the client and management team.
• Manage client and candidate relationships by providing effective customer care
• Assist colleagues within the team as and when required to ensure the smooth running of their packages
• Monitor staffing levels on each package and provide clients with new candidates as and when required through proactive recruitment and from an existing internal database
• Provide excellent levels of customer service, including weekly client courtesy calls, client visits and dealing with any queries or concerns
• Build & maintain candidate relationships
• Conduct quarterly supervisions with candidates to identify areas of concern and improvements
• Assist the recruitment and compliance teams with candidate registration and ongoing compliance (right to work, DBS checks, mandatory training)
• Handle any non-clinical complaints/incidents by conducting investigations
• Working with the Clinical department to identify training needs for candidates.
• Attending monthly client visits and other professional meetings as required.
• Produce monthly reports for clients and the management team.
• Complete relevant administrative duties such as updating the CRM system.
• Uphold the fundamental CQC standards of care at all times.
• Update NHS CCG's and other health professionals monthly with the progress of packages.
