Barchester Healthcare seeks an experienced Administrator to join the home’s management team in Copthorne, England. You will support the General Manager with customer experience, HR, recruitment, payroll, and finance, supervising junior admin staff and ensuring smooth daily operations.

You will be professional, IT-literate, and able to provide direction while maintaining a positive image of the home to residents and families.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing role.
• HR administration and recruitment exposure.
• High level of attention to detail and prioritisation.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Promote a warm and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors.
• Manage enquiries and showrounds of the home and handle customer databases.
• Drive occupancy and reputation through community engagement.
• Support resident and family feedback with a focus on customer care.
• Assist with recruitment, including new starter checks and inductions.
• Payroll preparation for home-based staff.
• Provide HR guidance and respond to queries using available tools.
• Ensure personal files are stored securely and minutes are recorded.
