Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a friendly receptionist to join our no-for-profit team at Harlow, Essex. You will deliver a comprehensive front of house service to staff, visitors and callers, handle post and deliveries, and support the Home Manager with clerical tasks.

The role requires excellent verbal and written communication, a tidy reception area, and confidence working independently. Computer literacy is essential, with enhanced pay on weekends and Bank Holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience as a receptionist preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work confidently on a day-to-day basis and lone-work.
• Computer literacy is essential.

Responsibilities

• Reception & telephone support for staff, visitors and callers.
• Managing deliveries and ensuring items reach the correct recipient.
• Processing invoices and authorisation paperwork.
• Maintaining reception areas to be clean, tidy and welcoming.
• Organising the post room and stationery cupboard.
• Handling outgoing mail and daily distribution.
• Monitoring stationery supplies and reordering as required.
• Supporting the Home Manager with additional duties as needed.
• Communicating confidently face to face, by phone and email.
• Overseas police check may be required where applicable.
• Computer literacy is essential.
