Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a Weekend Receptionist for Tye Green Lodge in Harlow. This part-time role covers Saturdays and Sundays, 10am–2pm, with 8 hours per week, at £13.21 per hour. You will be the welcoming face for residents, visitors and staff.

Experience in reception and excellent customer service is preferred. Computer literacy is essential, and candidates should be able to work independently and manage deliveries, post room, and reception duties efficiently.

• Previous Receptionist experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to lone work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Confident in communicating face to face, via phone and email.
• Computer literacy is essential.

Responsibilities

• Reception & telephone support — front of house for staff, visitors and callers.
• Managing deliveries — ensure items reach correct recipient and are not left unattended.
• Processing invoices — complete authorisation paperwork and pass to Home Manager.
• Maintaining reception areas — keep foyer and reception clean, tidy and welcoming.
• Organising the post room — ensure post room and stationery cupboard remain well-ordered.
• Handling outgoing mail — prepare and bag daily mail for collection.
• Monitoring stationery supplies — order stock as required.
• Supporting the Home Manager — undertake additional duties aligned with your skills.
• Computer literacy is essential.

This61 bed purpose-built home features spacious en-suite accommodation, elegant communal areas, and beautifully maintained gardens.
