Job summary

HC-One is seeking a dedicated Chef for our care home kitchen. You will prepare and serve wholesome, homemade meals that meet nutritional needs and bring comfort to Residents each day.

You will work with a caring team, apply HACCP standards, and hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate along with NVQ2 or Professional Cookery qualifications. Opportunities for development and DBS support are available.

Qualifications

• Qualified cook with S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is required.
• Understanding of HACCP and food safety standards is essential.
• Creative menu planning and presenting nutritious meals is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve wholesome, homemade meals for Residents.
• Ensure nutritional needs are met and meals are appetising.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen safety and cleanliness.
