Job summary

HC-One Ltd. is seeking an experienced Chef for our care home kitchen in Whitley Bay. You will prepare and serve wholesome, homemade meals that support residents’ nutritional needs and well-being, while upholding high safety and hygiene standards.

You will demonstrate creativity in menu planning and plating, bringing passion for great food and a true care for residents. A Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate and S/NVQ2 in Catering are required, along with a team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook with a recognised qualification (S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery) and a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Sound understanding of HACCP and maintaining high kitchen standards.
• Creativity in menu planning and presentation, with a caring approach reflecting HC-One values.
