Job summary

HC-One Limited is seeking a dedicated Chef for a care home kitchen to prepare wholesome meals that meet nutritional and enjoyment needs for Residents.

You will hold a recognised qualification (S/NVQ2 or equivalent), have Level 2 Food Hygiene, and apply HACCP principles. You will play a key role in menu planning, presentation, and maintaining high kitchen standards with a caring, team-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Qualified cook with S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and HACCP knowledge.
• Experience in care home kitchen preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve wholesome, homemade meals.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
• Plan and present nutritious, appetising dishes for Residents.
