Job summary

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust invites applications for a Band 5 Care Group Support Officer within the Medicine directorate. The role encompasses service management tasks such as DM01, 18 Week RTT, capacity planning, patient pathways, clinic configuration and staff management, with flexible work to meet service demands.

You will input and extract data for dashboards and reports, monitor care group wait lists and booking rules to optimise capacity, and collaborate with clinicians to address RTT

Qualifications

• Previous experience in managing a service is essential.
• Calm and confident aptitude in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Care Group Management by inputting and extracting data for dashboards, reports and updates on 18 week RTT.
• Monitor the Care Group wait lists daily.
• Monitor booking rules for outpatient sessions to optimise capacity.
• Monitor the DM01 for Endoscopy.
• Liaise with the access team to support patient pathways and interpret the PTL.
• Identify data quality issues in the PTL and address capacity risks with clinicians.
• Develop capacity and demand models for clinical specialties.
• Contribute to service reviews and redesign activities.
