We are seeking to recruit a Care Co‑ordinator (Level 1) into our Mental Health Team who can deliver exceptional standards of person‑centred care and support to customers. This role focuses on keeping the individual at the centre of care, promoting respect, dignity, engagement and participation throughout the delivery of personalised care and support.

Role responsibilities
  • Help with preparation of meals and drinks

  • Support with household and personal shopping
  • Support with meeting friends and family
  • Support with high standards of nutrition
  • Adhere to health and safety legislation
  • Cleanliness and intimate personal hygiene
  • Provide opportunities for employment or education
  • Provide emotional support
  • Use active support techniques and positive behaviour support techniques to increase skill level and achieve set outcomes (training will be provided)
  • Plan holidays and provide support when needed (additional payment)

Compensation and benefits

  • 37 hours per week (pro rata salary if working less)
  • Starting salary of £26,403 (pro rata if working less than 37 hours per week)
  • Sleep in payment of £43.12 per shift completed (where applicable)
