Job summary

City & County Healthcare Group is seeking a compassionate care worker to support a client with a spinal injury in their own home. You will help with mobility, personal and social care, and assist with outdoor activities and social events, bringing empathy and companionship to daily life.

This role offers £13.00 to £13.50 per hour, 8am–8pm days and 8pm–8am nights on a rolling rota. We provide benefits including maternity/paternity leave, pension, paid annual leave, cycle-to-work, enhanced DBS and

• Experience working in Social Care preferred.
• Experience with adults with disabilities preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

Job Description

This role is supporting our client with a spinal injury in their own home to help mobilise around the property, provide personal and social care, help support to enjoy outdoor activities and attend social events, they enjoy a variety of interests and the right person will provide care, empathy and companionship.

Qualifications

• Experience working in Social Care Preferred.
• Experience of working with adults with disabilities preferred.
• Experience dealing with client who have communication difficulties or need additional support desired.
• This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work indepedently.
