Job summary

AGH is part of City & County Healthcare Group. We are seeking a compassionate care assistant to support a client with a spinal injury at their home, helping mobility, personal care, enabling outdoor activities and social events, and providing companionship.

The role requires excellent communication and the ability to work independently. DBS is provided for the successful candidate, with full training and induction offered.

Qualifications

• This role requires experience in social care, preferably with adults with disabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential.

Location: Burleydam, needs a driver due to remote location

Shifts Available: 8am to 8pm days and 8pm to 8am nights awake, rolling rota

Job Description

This role is supporting our client with a spinal injury in their own home to help mobilise around the property, provide personal and social care, help support to enjoy outdoor activities and attend social events, they enjoy a variety of interests and the right person will provide care, empathy and companionship.

Qualifications

• -Experience working in Social Care Preferred.
• -Experience of working with adults with disabilities preferred.
• -Experience dealing with client who have communication difficulties or need additional support desired.
• -This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work indepedently.
