Job summary

City & County Healthcare Group is seeking a carer to assist a client with a spinal injury at home. You will help mobilise around the property, provide personal and social care, and support outdoor activities and social events, bringing empathy and companionship to their day.

The role requires excellent communication and the ability to work independently, with shifts 8am–8pm days and 8pm–8am nights on a rolling rota in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience working in Social Care preferred.
• Experience of working with adults with disabilities preferred.
• Experience dealing with clients who have communication difficulties or need additional support desired.
• This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Support client with spinal injury at home to mobilise around the property.
• Provide personal and social care and enable outdoor activities and social events.
• Offer care, empathy and companionship to suit the client’s interests.

Location: Burleydam, needs a driver due to remote location

Pay Rate: £13.00 to £13.50 hour

Shifts Available: 8am to 8pm days and 8pm to 8am nights awake, rolling rota
