Job summary

Advantage Healthcare is seeking a dedicated care worker to support a client with a spinal injury at home. You will assist with mobility, provide personal and social care, and help the client enjoy outdoor activities and social events with empathy and companionship.

The role emphasizes excellent communication, independence, and the ability to adapt to a remote location. Full training and paid induction are provided, with opportunities for career growth and national relocation possibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience working in social care preferred.
• Experience of working with adults with disabilities preferred.
• Experience dealing with clients who have communication difficulties or need additional support desired.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently required.

Responsibilities

• Assist client with mobility around the home and in/out of the property.
• Provide personal care and support to promote independence.
• Support client to participate in outdoor activities and social events.
• Deliver care with empathy and companionship to enhance quality of life.

Location: Burleydam, needs a driver due to remote location

Shifts Available: 8am to 8pm days and 8pm to 8am nights awake, rolling rota

Job Description

This role is supporting our client with a spinal injury in their own home to help mobilise around the property, provide personal and social care, help support to enjoy outdoor activities and attend social events, they enjoy a variety of interests and the right person will provide care, empathy and companionship.

-This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work indepedently.
