Responsibilities

Package Description: A rolling two‑week rota that includes alternating weekends. The shifts run from 08:00 to 20:00.

Your main focus as a Care Assistant will be to deliver high‑standards personal care and fully contribute to the care team to ensure continuity of services for residents.

• Assist residents with all personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect of individuals at all times.
• Recognise and understand clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infections, and timely escalation of any identified risks.
• Act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
• Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
