Job summary

Advance Health Care UK Ltd is seeking a compassionate care worker to support a spinal injury client in their own home in Burleydam. You will help mobilise, provide personal and social care, and enable outdoor activities and social events.

Shifts are 8am–8pm days and 8pm–8am nights on a rolling rota. Free DBS, full training and clear career progression are provided, with a friendly, family‑oriented team within City & County Healthcare Group.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Experience in social care or supporting adults with disabilities is preferred.
• Ability to provide personal and social care with empathy and companionship.

Responsibilities

• Support a spinal injury client in their home to mobilise around the property.
• Provide personal and social care and assist with outdoor activities and events.
• Deliver care with empathy and maintain client dignity and safety.

Job Description

This role is supporting our client with a spinal injury in their own home to help mobilise around the property, provide personal and social care, help support to enjoy outdoor activities and attend social events, they enjoy a variety of interests and the right person will provide care, empathy and companionship.

Qualifications

-Experience working in Social Care Preferred.

-Experience of working with adults with disabilities preferred.

-Experience dealing with client who have communication difficulties or need additional support desired.

-This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work indepedently.
