Job summary

AGH is recruiting for in-home care to support a client with spinal injury in their own home. You will assist with mobility around the house, provide personal care and accompany them to activities and events.

The role emphasizes empathy, companionship, and the ability to work independently, with DBS checks and full training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in Social Care preferred.
• Experience with adults with disabilities preferred.
• Experience dealing with clients who have communication difficulties or need additional support desired.
• Excellent communication and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Support a spinal injury client at home to help mobilisation around the property.
• Provide personal and social care and assist with outdoor activities and social events.
• Offer care, empathy and companionship to the client.
• Maintain clear communication with all care team members.

Location: Burleydam, needs a driver due to remote location

Shifts Available: 8am to 8pm days and 8pm to 8am nights awake, rolling rota

Job Description

This role is supporting our client with a spinal injury in their own home to help mobilise around the property, provide personal and social care, help support to enjoy outdoor activities and attend social events, they enjoy a variety of interests and the right person will provide care, empathy and companionship.

Qualifications

-Experience working in Social Care Preferred.

-Experience of working with adults with disabilities preferred.

-Experience dealing with client who have communication difficulties or need additional support desired.

-This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work indepedently.
