Job summary

Advance Health Care UK Ltd (AGH) is seeking a compassionate care worker to support a client with a spinal injury in their own home, helping with mobility around the property and daily living activities. You will provide personal and social care, assist with outdoor activities and attend social events, delivering empathy, companionship, and respectful, person-centred support.

• Experience in social care is preferred.
• Experience with adults with disabilities preferred.
• Experience with clients who have communication difficulties or need additional support.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently are required.

Location: Burleydam, needs a driver due to remote location

Shifts Available: 8am to 8pm days and 8pm to 8am nights awake, rolling rota

Job Description

This role is supporting our client with a spinal injury in their own home to help mobilise around the property, provide personal and social care, help support to enjoy outdoor activities and attend social events, they enjoy a variety of interests and the right person will provide care, empathy and companionship.

Qualifications

-Experience working in Social Care Preferred.

-Experience of working with adults with disabilities preferred.

-Experience dealing with client who have communication difficulties or need additional support desired.

-This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work indepedently.
