Job summary

The Cinnamon Care Collection's new care home in Thurnby, Leicester is recruiting experienced night shift care assistants to support residential and dementia residents with compassion and professionalism. This full-time role includes alternate weekend work and a comprehensive induction.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification required or desirable.
• Strong team player with good communication and flexibility.
• Experience in care settings preferred but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Care for residential and dementia residents during night shifts.
• Promote independence and ensure safety and comfort during duties.
• Support colleagues and maintain high-quality care standards.

Thurnby Fields is a luxurious residential and dementia care home based in Leicester, offering state-of-the-art facilities, which include 73 large en-suite bedrooms and 10 luxury care suites. The home also features luxurious lounges and dining rooms, an on-site café bar, a cinema and a professional hair and beauty salon.

We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and reliable carers to be part of our care team looking after our residential and dementia residents.

Person Specification

• Physically and medically able to carry out duties and responsibilities with or without assistive aids
• NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualifications if not willingness to attend
• Team player, self-motivated, proactive, flexible and adaptable
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload and work under pressure
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
