Job summary

Cinnamon Care Collection is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our Eastcote Park team. The role supports residential and dementia residents, with day and night shifts available on an annualized schedule that respects residents’ routines.

We offer induction, mentorship, and training, plus a comprehensive benefits package and a friendly, supportive team environment. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as part of a team and support our residents.
• Commitment to high standards of care and safety.
• Experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Care for residential and dementia residents with compassion and respect.
• Assist with activities of daily living and ensure residents’ comfort.
• Maintain accurate records and good communication with team and families.

Eastcote Park is a luxury retirement community boasting 34 exclusive retirement apartments and a stunning 50 bedded care home providing residential, dementia and respite care.

We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and reliable carers to be part of our care team looking after our residential and dementia residents to work on an ‘as and when’ basis to cover annual leave and ad hoc sickness. Rotas are planned in advance so you will be given notice of the days/weeks to be worked.

Person Specification

• Physically and medically able to carry out duties and responsibilities with or without assistive aids
• NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualifications if not willingness to attend
• Team player, self-motivated, proactive, flexible and adaptable
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload and work under pressure
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
