Job summary

Cinnamon Care Collection's Abbotswood Court in Romsey is seeking a caring, reliable Care Assistant for part-time hours to support residents in residential and dementia care. Day shifts with alternate weekend work are available in a warm, team-focused home.

Ideally NVQ level 2 or equivalent, you are physically capable, flexible and a good communicator. We offer a thorough induction, ongoing training and a range of benefits and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent required.
• Willingness to attend NVQ if not already held.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

• Care for residents in residential and dementia care.

Abbotswood Court is a beautiful 60 bedded residential care home located in Romsey, near Southampton.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and reliable carer to be part of our care team looking after our residential and dementia residents. Our team members must have a real passion for care and want to work as part of a close-knit team supporting each other, and wanting to promote choice, individuality and independence to our residents at all times.

We are looking to recruit experienced carers, ideally with an NVQ qualification and with the desire to further their career within our home. We offer a comprehensive induction, mentorship, support and training and encourage career development.
