Job summary

The Cinnamon Care Collection is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for night shifts to join our luxury Rokewood Court home. You will lead a small night team, ensuring high standards of care for residential and dementia residents, and supporting individuals to maintain independence.

Ideal candidates hold an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent), with supervisory experience and knowledge of CQC standards. Two years' experience with older people is preferred; medication administration expertise is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) and sound knowledge of care legislation including CQC Fundamental Standards.
• 2 years' experience with older people and dementia.
• Supervisory experience in a care setting; mentoring for care assistants.

Responsibilities

• Lead a care team during night shifts, ensuring high-quality residential/dementia care.
• Administer medications in line with training and protocols.
• Support and mentor junior care assistants to promote independence and person-centered care.
• Promote choice, individuality and safety for residents at all times.

Rokewood Court is a luxury 64 bedded care home that provides the most luxurious surroundings and the very best in care and support.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and reliable Senior Carer to be part of our care team looking after our residential and dementia residents.

Our team members must have a real passion for care and want to work as part of a close-knit team supporting each other, and wanting to promote choice, individuality and independence to our residents at all times.

We are looking to recruit experienced Senior Carers who hold a NVQ level 3 (or equivalent qualification) and have a sound knowledge of care legislation including CQC Fundamental Standards. You will have supervisory experience, Medication administration experience (& relevant qualification) as well as being a supportive mentor to the care assistants.
