Choices Homecare, part of the Optimo Care Group, is seeking Care Assistants to support clients across the Sheffield region. The role offers flexible full-time and part-time hours with mileage allowance and genuine career progression opportunities.

We provide full training, a supportive team, and an Employee Assistance Programme. A UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are beneficial for certain routes and locations. Not visa-sponsored.

Qualifications

• Care is delivered 7 days a week between 07:00 and 23:00.
• Minimum of 16 hours per week.
• Every other weekend availability required.
• Paid for care delivery time; mileage reimbursed between calls at 30p per mile.

Responsibilities

• Support people with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with medication administration and accurate documentation.
• Prepare meals and support with eating and drinking when needed.
• Encourage independence and support daily living tasks.
• Build positive relationships with service users and families.
• Support emotional wellbeing and identify changes in behaviour or needs.
• Keep accurate records and communicate with colleagues and supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
