Job summary

Choices Homecare is recruiting Care Assistants to support clients across the Calderdale area. The role offers flexible full-time and part-time hours with a pay rate of £13.65 per hour and mileage allowance.

Full training is provided, with opportunities for career progression within the Optimo Care Group. Rotas are provided in advance on a 2-week rolling pattern, and the role requires commitment to delivering compassionate, outcome-focused home care across community settings.

Responsibilities

• Support people with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting.

• Keep accurate records and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.

30p per mile mileage - the company will give you 30 pence for every mile you drive between client visits to help cover your petrol and vehicle wear-and-tear

What to expect in this role

Care is delivered 7 days a week between 07:00 and 23:00

We ask for a minimum of 16 hours per week

Every other weekend availability is required

This role is paid for care delivery time, with mileage reimbursed between calls at 30p per mile

What you will do

Support people with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
