Job summary

Choices Homecare in Liverpool is recruiting Care Assistants to provide compassionate, person-centered support across multiple local regions. Roles offer flexible full-time and part-time hours with mileage reimbursement and a clear path for career progression.

We deliver care 7 days a week with shifts from 07:00 to 23:00; a UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are beneficial for some routes. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Care is delivered 7 days a week between 07:00 and 23:00.
• Support people with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with medication administration and accurate documentation.
• Prepare meals and support with eating and drinking when needed.
• Encourage independence and support daily living tasks.
• Keep accurate records and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
• Respect confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries.

Rate of Pay: £13.51 per hour

What To Expect In This Role

Care is delivered 7 days a week between 07:00 and 23:00

We ask for a minimum of 16 hours per week

Every Other Weekend Availability Is Required

This role is paid for care delivery time, with mileage reimbursed between calls at 30p per mile

What You Will Do

• Support people with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting

• Encourage independence and support people with daily living tasks
• Build positive relationships with service users and their families
• Support emotional wellbeing and identify changes in behaviour or needs
• Keep accurate records and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment
• Respect confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries at all times
