Choices Homecare, part of the Optimo Care Group, is seeking Care Assistants to support clients across the Calderdale area. We offer flexible full-time and part-time hours, a £13.65 per hour rate, mileage allowance and clear career progression.

You will work with a supportive team, receive full training, and help people with daily living tasks while maintaining dignity and independence. Every other weekend availability is required; driving licence may be needed for some routes.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is helpful but not essential.
• UK work permission required (no visa sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting.
• Support with medication administration and documentation.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating and drinking.
• Encourage independence and assist with daily living tasks.
• Build positive relationships with service users and families.

What To Expect In This Role

Care is delivered 7 days a week between 07:00 and 23:00

We ask for a minimum of 16 hours per week

Every Other Weekend Availability Is Required

This role is paid for care delivery time, with mileage reimbursed between calls at 30p per mile

What You Will Do
