Job summary

Worsley Lodge Care Home in Manchester is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing. You will follow care plans and work with a friendly team to provide respectful, person-centred care.

Full training and ongoing development are provided. The role offers 33 or 44 hours per week, with enhanced DBS paid, uniform provided, and generous annual leave, plus opportunities for progression within Care Concern Group.

About Worsley Lodge
Worsley Lodge is a welcoming 48 bed care home in Worsley, Manchester, providing residential care for older people. Our dedicated team provides compassionate, person centred care, supporting residents to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life in a warm and supportive environment.

Care Assistant Contract

• Contracted to 33 or 44 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview
As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.
You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
