Job summary

Newlands Care Home in Heaton Moor, Stockport, provides residential and nursing care in a 69-bed setting. The team is dedicated to delivering kind, person-centered care, supporting dignity and independence for residents day by day.

The role of Care Assistant offers full training, guidance and opportunities for development within a supportive environment. Contract is 44 hours per week with benefits including DBS, pension, uniform and generous leave.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (personal care, mobility, nutrition, emotional wellbeing).

• Work as part of a supportive team to deliver high quality, person-centred care.

About Newlands Care Home

Our 69 bedded home provides residential and nursing care in the peaceful Heaton Moor area of Stockport. Newlands offers stylish living spaces, beautiful gardens and the luxury Beeches Suite, alongside a friendly team who are passionate about delivering kind care and making a difference every day.

Care Assistant Contract

• Contracted to 44 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing. You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
