Job summary

Worsley Lodge Care Home in Salford, England, is hiring a Kitchen Assistant to support high‑quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen. You will assist with food preparation, maintain kitchen hygiene and help with deliveries and stock control, working closely with the Chef and team.

About Worsley Lodge
Worsley Lodge is a welcoming 48 bed care home in Worsley, Manchester, providing residential care for older people. Our dedicated team provides compassionate, person centred care, supporting residents to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life in a warm and supportive environment.

• Contracted to 38 hours per week

Role Overview
As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.
You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.
This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
