Qualifications

Main duties of the job

What is required from you?

  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
  • Experience within the care sector is required for this role.
  • Care Assistant @ 42 hours per week to work from 8am to 8pm to include working alternative weekends
  • For non-drivers a minibus collection and drop off service is available which covers Farnham, Linford, Bordon, Petersfield and Portsmouth train stations
  • Bank Care Assistant with the flexibility to work day, night and weekend shifts as and when required
  • For the bank role you are required to have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle to get to and from work as Tilford care home is situated in a remote location with no public transport routes

A day in the life of a Care Assistant

  • Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
  • Personal care-supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
  • Medication-Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
  • Meals Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
  • Domestic tasks- light cleaning tasks.
  • Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
  • Social activities- Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.

Qualifications
  • You will need at least 12 months of experience working in the care sector. A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle is required for the Bank Care Assistant role, as the care home is in a remote location with limited public transportation.
