Job summary

Northcare (Scotland) Ltd in East Kilbride is recruiting Care Assistants to join a committed team providing high-quality support to residents at Lindsayfield Lodge and Rosaburn House. The role offers permanent, full-time hours with day and night shifts on a 14-day cycle, and a pay rate of £13.45 per hour.

You will help with daily living tasks, support meals, monitor wellbeing, and maintain accurate records. Full training is provided; weekend and holiday work may be required.

• Previous care experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays where required.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and support to residents.
• Assisting with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Supporting residents with meals and hydration.
• Offering companionship and emotional support.
• Promoting residents' independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
• Assisting residents with daily activities and social engagement.
• Working closely with senior carers and healthcare professionals.
• Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns appropriately.

Location: Lindsayfield Lodge and Rosaburn House in East Kilbride
Salary: £13.45 per hour
Hours: Full-time Dayshift and Nightshift Rotas Available, working 7 shifts across a 14 day period
Contract: Permanent
