Job summary

Northcare (Scotland) Ltd is seekingCare Assistants to join the Northcare Suites team in Leith, Edinburgh. You will provide compassionate personal care, assist with daily living activities and support residents to maintain independence.

This permanent, full-time role offers training, development opportunities and a competitive hourly rate of £13.75 with shift rotations. Right to work in the UK required; sponsorship is not available.

Job Description – Health Care Assistant
Location: Northcare Suites, Leith Edinburgh
Salary: £13.75 per hour
Hours: Full-time rota available. working 7 shifts across a 14 day period
Contract: Permanent

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to join our team and provide high-quality support to individuals in Northcare Suites. At Northcare, you are more than a care worker. About the Role

As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care and support to residents
  • Assisting with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
  • Supporting residents with meals and hydration
  • Offering companionship and emotional support
  • Promoting residents' independence, dignity, and wellbeing
  • Assisting residents with daily activities and social engagement
  • Working closely with senior carers and healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns appropriately

  • Previous care experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
