Job summary

Northcare is seeking dedicated Care Assistants to join our team at Clarkston House Care Home. You will provide compassionate care to residents and support their daily activities, meals, and wellbeing.

Full-time, permanent position with paid induction and ongoing learning. Right to work in the UK is required; Northcare cannot sponsor international workers. Competitive pay and staff benefits are offered.

Job Description – Health Care Assistant
Location: Clarkston House Care Home, G76 8AJ
Salary: £13.45 per hour
Hours: Full-time
Contract: Permanent

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to join our team and provide high-quality support to individuals in Northcare Suites. At Northcare, you are more than a care worker. About the Role

As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care and support to residents
  • Assisting with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
  • Supporting residents with meals and hydration
  • Offering companionship and emotional support
  • Promoting residents’ independence, dignity, and wellbeing
  • Assisting residents with daily activities and social engagement
  • Working closely with senior carers and healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns appropriately
What We’re Looking For
  • A caring, respectful, and patient approach
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliability and professionalism
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced care environment
  • Previous care experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays where required
