Job summary

Northcare Residences in Stirling is seeking a compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our team. You will provide personal care and support to residents, assisting with daily activities and meals while promoting independence and wellbeing.

We offer full-time permanent roles with training provided. A strong team ethic, reliability, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment are essential. Right to work in the UK is required, and sponsorship is not available.

Job Description – Health Care Assistant

Location: Northcare Residences - Stirling

Salary: £13.50 per hour

Hours: Full-time

Contract: Permanent

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to join our team and provide high-quality support to individuals in Northcare Suites. At Northcare, you are more than a care worker. About the Role

As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care and support to residents
  • Assisting with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
  • Supporting residents with meals and hydration
  • Offering companionship and emotional support
  • Promoting residents’ independence, dignity, and wellbeing
  • Assisting residents with daily activities and social engagement
  • Working closely with senior carers and healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns appropriately
What We’re Looking For
  • A caring, respectful, and patient approach
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliability and professionalism
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced care environment
  • Previous care experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays where required
