Job summary

ExtraCare Charitable Trust’s Pannel Croft Retirement Village is recruiting a Care Assistant to join a 24-hour-per-week, permanent role. The successful candidate will work a 7-day rolling rota, including early and late shifts and alternating weekends, providing domiciliary care with a focus on resident well-being and independence.

You will carry out hands-on care, help with social activities, document care in line with policy, and contribute to a supportive village environment that promotes

Hours: 24hours per week – permanent contract.

Shifts: 7-day rolling rota (Must be able to do a mix of early, lateshifts and alternate weekends).

Salary: £13.64per hour

As a Care Assistant, you will be expected to carry out the following tasks:

• Provide all aspects of domiciliary care to our residents, including both physical and personal care and support with social activities
• Promote and support the physical, emotional and well-being of our residents
• Encourage independence and self-belief
• Ensure records and documents are completed in line with our policy.
