• Role: Care Assistant

• Hours:Multiple contracts available

  • 21hrs per week = 4shifts per week including alternate weekends

    • Shift times include: 7am-11am, 4pm-9pm, 7am-2:30pm,2:30pm-10pm*

  • 22hrs per week = 5 shifts per weekincluding alternate weekends

    • Shift times include: 7am-11am and4pm-9pm*

• Salary: £14.33per hour

• Location: Wixams Retirement Village, Bedford Road, Bedford, MK42 6EA
  *Shift times are subject to change to meet the requirements of the service

As a Care Assistant, you will be expected to carry out the following tasks:

• Provide all aspects of domiciliary careto our residents including both physical, personal care and support with social activities,
• Promoting and supporting the physical, emotional and well-being of our residents
• Encourage independence and self-belief
• Ensure records and documents are completed in line with our policy.

Person Specification

• Hold acare certificate or willing to undertake a care qualification
• Personable, an effective communicator and a team player
• Passionate about delivering a quality care service
• Flexible with hours.
