Job summary

ExtraCare Charitable Trust’s Pannel Croft Retirement Village is recruiting a Care Assistant to join a 24-hour-per-week, permanent role. The successful candidate will work a 7-day rolling rota, including early and late shifts and alternating weekends, providing domiciliary care with a focus on resident well-being and independence.

• Holds a care certificate or willingness to undertake a care qualification.

• Provide all aspects of domiciliary care to residents, including physical and personal support and social activities.
• Promote and support residents' physical and emotional well-being.
• Encourage independence and self-belief.
• Ensure records and documents are completed per policy.
